Webinar - Early group housing of calves to improve animal welfare and resilience

The webinar is on the effects of early group housing on calf welfare, health and production. The benefits of social housing in terms of social development, stress resilience, better learning ability and increased solid feed intake are presented. The effect of group size on calf health is addressed and solutions to the challenges faced when group housing calves in the milk feeding period are outlined.
