Cross Visit in Belgium Flanders

From the 13 March to the 16 March more than a hundred farmers, advisors and scientists from 15 countries met in Lille for the second R4D European workshop.

During the first day the group visited two farms in Belgium.  Some topics discussed during these visits were

- automation of processes (Feeding and milking)

- using rainwater for cows to drink

- reducing climate gas emissions

- producing energy on the farm through biomethanisation
